Description
The main activity of Kadin Indonesia (Kamar Dagang dan Industri Indonesia) is to serve as an umbrella organization for all economic actors in Indonesia, whether from the public, private or cooperative sector, and regardless of their size (large companies, SMEs, micro-enterprises). Kadin acts as the sole representative of the Indonesian business community to the government and stakeholders, with a mission to gather, train, represent and defend the interests of businesses in order to strengthen the national economy in an integrated and sustainable manner.
Kadin offers a range of services and products intended to facilitate the commercial activities of its members, notably:
- Issuance of official documents for international trade, such as the Certificate of Origin (COO), the ATA Carnet and the APEC Business Travel Card.
- Legal advisory, management, and export support services (WikiExport, Tech Hub, Business Service Desk).
- Programs for skills development, support for innovation, digitalization, sustainability (Net Zero Hub), health, the blue economy and vocational training reform.
- Business forums, events, newsletters, economic analyses and networking tools for its members.
Kadin's target market consists of all companies operating in Indonesia, from large corporations to SMEs and micro-enterprises, across all sectors, as well as individual entrepreneurs and cooperatives. Kadin also serves international actors wishing to collaborate with Indonesia's economic landscape.
