The main activity of the OJK (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) is the regulation and supervision of the financial services sector in Indonesia. The OJK oversees the banking sector, capital markets and non-bank financial institutions (insurance, pension funds, finance companies, etc.). It provides regulatory, supervisory, consumer protection and financial sector development services. Its target market includes financial institutions, investors, businesses and consumers of financial services in Indonesia.
