The Institutes RiskStream Collaborative

The primary activity of RiskStream Collaborative is to serve as a multi-party collaborative hub for the insurance industry. It is a nonprofit organization that aims to enable and educate companies in the risk and insurance sector to discover, explore, operate and collaborate around data in an efficient, secure, compliant and standardized manner, while leveraging emerging technologies.

RiskStream offers innovative technology solutions, notably RAPID X, a blockchain-based application for exchanging automobile claims data, which enables the streamlining of data exchange between insurers, thereby reducing costs and improving policyholder satisfaction. The organization is also exploring the use of artificial intelligence to accelerate claims and policy management, improve the customer experience, and modernize legacy systems. It is also interested in innovation in cross-border payments for insurance and reinsurance, notably via the Bitcoin Lightning Network.

RiskStream's target market primarily includes insurance companies, insurance producers, reinsurers, as well as service providers, software developers, legal entities, banks, professional associations, regulators, and government institutions.
