It offers a wide range of products such as bars, sheets, tubes, wires and machined parts, adapted to the technical requirements of its clients. Groupe SAB primarily serves the aerospace, energy, medical, defense, automotive and general industry markets, providing tailor-made solutions and related services such as cutting, machining and logistics.

Groupe SAB is a family-owned, human-scale group specializing in the foundry, machining, and assembly of aluminum parts, mainly for the automotive and industrial sectors. Its history is marked by constant evolution towards the role of a global supplier, capable of meeting a variety of needs in small, medium, and large series.

Key stages of development:

• Creation and development: Groupe SAB was built around complete mastery of the aluminum foundry value chain, integrating different molding technologies (gravity casting, low pressure, high pressure) and machining.
• Structuring into centers of expertise: The group is organized into 6 entities (SAB Belmont, SAB Matour, SAB Montmerle, SAB Rhodanienne, SAB Thevenin in France, SAB Nafta in Mexico), each specializing in specific processes or markets (automotive, industry, small to large series).
• Internationalization: In 2015, SAB accelerated its international development with the opening of a site in Mexico (SAB Nafta), in order to support its global clients and strengthen its presence in the North American market.
• Expansion of the offering: SAB offers complete solutions, from design to delivery of finished parts or sub-assemblies, integrating value-added services (surface treatments, mechanical assembly, washing, sealing).
• Strategic positioning: SAB positions itself as an integrated supplier for the automotive markets (tier 2, technical parts cast and machined in large series) and industrial markets (small and medium series, complex parts).
