The Bank of Japan (Bank of Japan, BOJ) is the central bank of Japan. Its main activity is issuing the national currency (yen), implementing the country's monetary policy, and ensuring the stability of the financial system. It offers services such as the management of foreign exchange reserves, the supervision of payment and settlement systems, as well as the provision of banking services to the Japanese government and financial institutions. The BOJ's target market primarily includes financial institutions, the Japanese government, and, indirectly, the entire Japanese economy.
