The main activity of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand (SEC Thailand), is the regulation, supervision and development of the capital market in Thailand. It ensures transparency, fairness and investor protection on the country’s financial markets.

The SEC provides regulatory services for listed companies, securities issuers, asset managers, fund operators, market professionals, as well as for companies active in digital assets (cryptocurrencies, tokens, etc.). It develops and enforces regulations, issues licenses, monitors market activities, publishes information and reports, and offers verification and alert tools for investors.

The SEC’s target market includes listed companies, institutional and retail investors, asset managers, financial intermediaries, financial services firms, as well as any entity or individual operating in the capital and digital asset markets in Thailand.
